Happy Heinys

THE BEST SELLING CLOTH DIAPER IN USA

Happy Heinys pocket diapers come in several different styles. Pocket diapers with high quality hook & loop tabs or snaps closures. We use only custom milled fleece for our diapers. There are no leg casings, which make better fitting diapers and contain messes better without leaving red marks on your baby’s legs. They are designed so the only thing that touches your child’s delicate skin is the soft fleece.

So Easy to Use!

Happy Heinys® are available in a variety of solid colors and fun prints. Happy Heinys® solids and prints have been tested for 12 hours or more at night with absolutely no wicking for most babies. The solids have a 100% poly laminated outer layer and will work better overnight. The prints are now custom made for us with the same fabric as our solids diapers in order to reduce leaking and wicking.

Happy Heiny's One Size Pocket Diaper is just like their original pocket diaper except all the sizes are now in one diaper!  The snap settings in the front allow the diaper to grow from small, medium to large.  The cross over tab has been added to allow for the perfect fit.

The Happy Heiny's One Size Pocket Diaper features custom milled fleece to pull wetness away from your baby's bottom and into the super absorbent insert below - say goodbye to diaper rash.  These diapers have no leg casings, which make for better fitting diapers that contain messes while leaving NO red marks.  The most common question is should the fleece roll out?  The answer is YES, do not try to roll the fleece in since it will cause wicking if you try.  They are made to have the fleece roll out so that the only thing that touches your baby is the super soft fleece.

Happy Heiny's One Size Pocket Diaper comes with TWO microfiber inserts - one small and one large to make for the perfect set.

Happy Heiny's One Size Pocket Diapers fit most babies from 3.6kg to 15.6kg and each diaper comes with TWO microfiber inserts - one small and one large!

Caring for Happy Heinys Diapers

Store wet and dirty diapers in a dry pail. Older babies? solid waste can be removed by gently shaking the diaper over a toilet. The fleece will release solids easily ? there is no need to rinse them before washing.

Washing instructions for pocket diapers and trainers:

  • Remove the inserts
  • Cold Soak for 10-20 minutes depending on the level of dirt
  • Wash on hot with slightly less than 1/4 cup of detergent
  • You can add a downy ball of vinegar to the wash if the diapers have a heavy urine scent. I recommend a downy ball because it releases the vinegar at the right time - no need to wait by the machine.
  • Rinse well to ensure all detergent is removed from diapers.
  • Dry on warm. The warm of the dryer will keep your Happy Heiny functioning like new. We personally dry our PUL products on warm and although we have had prolonged use with these products we have not noticed any break down of our PUL.
  • DO NOT use SANITARY CYCLE. Use of the sanitary cycle can cause melting of elastics, Aplix, snaps, and it can make the waterproof layer no longer water proof. Use of sanitary cycle will void all warrenties.

Caring for Hemp Diapers

Your hemp product has been professionally washed and dried once. It will need up to 8 more washings and dries before it is fully absorbent. The first few times you wash hemp products you should NOT wash them with fleece products. Hemp has natural oils in it and the oils can coat your fleece. After your hemp has been fully primed you may wash it with all of your diapering products.

Caring for Heiny Huggers

Wash new diapers before use. You may notice that they produce a bit of lint in the beginning, this is normal for Sherpa.

  • Cold rinse
  • Warm-hot wash
  • Same detergents as the HH
  • No chlorine, no bleach, no fabric softners.
  • May be dried on high heat.

Occasionally you may notice that your Sherpa diapers are not as soft after a few months of use as they were when new. All you need to do is rinse the diapers a few times in the washer without detergent. Add vinegar to the rinse cycle. This will help to restore the natural softness to the Sherpa.

How can I get my Aplix tabs to fasten as firmly as they used to?

Easy! By washing your diaper and then drying it in the dryer, the heat will cause the Aplix to recontract and fasten more firmly again.
